Hi! Just stopped by to congratulate you on your win! Feel free to stop by anytime!!
It's only been about four days since I got out of school, but so much has happened and I feel like I've been on vacation for quite a while now. My last day was Monday but the last "official" day of school was Tuesday. My finals weren't so bad but I'll bet my math final score was atrocious. The last 30 questions were so hard. Yuck. We should get our report cards in the mail sometime soon. I've been having fun so far this summer and hopefully, I'll get all my summer reading done. My mom actually went to my school and got next year's textbooks for me to "study" over the summer. ARE MY PARENTS FREAKIN' INSANE??? I'm avoiding these books like the plague.
Anyway, my friend turned 15 on Monday but we celebrated on the 9th (Saturday). Nothing like throwing whipped cream at the birthday girl to make you feel special.
I did not partake in that particular activity but we did throw water balloons at each other and everyone drenched themselves with water guns. This was followed by pizza, cake, ice cream, and the traditional gift opening. After, we watched "Howl's
It was a nice movie (hilarious too); though, a tad bit confusing. I'm in the process of reading the novel it was based on. UPDATE 6.17.07: The book sucks.
We had cheer practice Monday and Wednesday afternoon (3-5 PM) and starting next week, we have to get up early in the morn' to run around chanting cheers. *yawn* I guess it's been going pretty well; we taught several new cheers and a dance, and we get to start stunting next Monday. However, I always have criticism; it's so sloppy. Tight, tight, TIGHT motions please! Especially on that one cheer where we wave our arms back and forth over our heads: 1, 2, WHATCHA GONNA DO??? Tiiighten up! Tiiighten up! (Haha ...couldn't resist
) I should be satisfied with how we're doing. At least were learning a lot and making progress. For any of you cheerleaders who are reading this, I have faith in you! Keep up the good work, tighten everything, and I hope you'll be at the party next Friday!
Speaking of parties, my other friend turned sweet sixteen yesterday. There was a pool, a moonbounce, a trampoline, and a slip 'n slide. We even roasted marshmallows once we got the fire started.
The above, combined with the whipped cream and water balloon incident, prove that you can be "grown up" and "too old" for that type of stuff but still enjoy it. It was major fun and I hope I never grow too old. The moonbounce (shaped like a huge birthday cake!) was not really my thing but I liked the pool and the trampoline. I did my back hand-spring on the trampoline a few (okay, many) times. My sister pointed out that it was a six-hour party... I disagree; it was only five and a half.
Also this week, I went out to lunch and saw "Pirates of the
Well, that's all I have to say for now, but my sweet sixteenth is coming up in the fall. My sister (did I mention she celebrated her birthday this week too?) wants to start planning it already. Fall weather is not exactly the type of weather you can party with so I don't think I can do an outdoor party. (If I want an outdoor party, I can do it on my half birthday... but what could I do with nothing but a big backyard?) What kinds of things can you do indoors? Other than standing around and chatting or singing karaoke, I can't think of anything. Any ideas? Leave a comment!

Hi Angel! I wish I could help out with ideas for the party, I'm probably a little too old and boring to help out with that. My parties or get-togethers are normally indoors with tv games and card games and lots of drinking to dull the pain of a boring party! (I guess I am pretty old!) I'm currently trying to plan my 30th!
