3:54 PM

So maybe I really AM a party girl...

  • Mood: bubbly
  • Music: Sean Kingston - Beautiful Girls
  • Weather: 76 degrees ...refreshingly windy
  • So today... I fell asleep around 3:30 AM, woke up some time later, fell asleep again, and got up at 10:30 AM.

The title of this post is a reference to my previous post. Nothing really interesting has happened except cheerleading, cheerleading practice, and going out ...with cheerleaders. As you can see, right now, my life pretty much revolves around cheerleading.

Monday, we had practice at 9:30 in the morning. At that practice we learned a new cheer that involves lots of hip movements... not a pretty sight. It's supposed to look good when we do it right, so hopefully, that will happen. I had to walk to school because my mom is too lazy to drive both me AND my sister someplace, so she drove my sister to the pool and left me to walk and risk getting run over by speeding cars. What fun...  getting sweaty before practice. From now on, I have to walk to practice. At least she'll pick me up when practice is over.

At Wednesday's practice, we finally started stunting! Granted, we only did shoulder sits and shoulder stands but at least it's something. Yay, I get to fly again! It was fun. Ooo! Guess what? I raised a bunch of money with fundraising, so now I just have to pay about $88 for camp (plus whatever other stuff I need... shoes, warm-ups, clothing, etc... generally, just stuff). The food I sold arrived today so I delivered people's orders, but not everyone was home so I had to make space in my freezer to hold their items.

Two tips for fundraising (works for me!):

1. Record everything. Names, addresses, phone numbers, prices... make a copy just in case you lose yours.
2. When you pick up food, put everything in coolers and deliver it right away. Otherwise, your refrigerator will hate you.

Yesterday we (the cheerleaders) went to Applebee's and the girls had a sleepover party afterwards. Only 8 of us could make it to dinner and only 6 were at the sleepover. That leaves 2 people on vacation and 2 people who were being anti-social... just kidding, but nevertheless, they weren't there. I think we were rather obnoxious during dinner. I really felt like apologizing to our waiter... ah, well. At least he will remember us!

So... girls (cheerleaders! omg!) + snack food (ice cream, chocolate, and marshmallows) + fun (Light as a Feather, Stiff as a Board) + truth or dare + no bed time = chaos! (and some seriously tired people afterwards) We stayed up sooo late spilling secrets, gossiping, playing Truth, Dare, Double dare, Torture, Kiss, or Promise, and taking a walk outside at 3 AM. Yes, we're crazy; but, it's in a good way, we swear!
