Hi! Just stopped by to congratulate you on your win! Feel free to stop by anytime!!
Yesterday was Friday, July 13th. OoOoOo... is anyone superstitious? My day was actually uneventful. So was my week. Cheerleading resumed, we're stunting more (cradling! omg! sarcasm!), and I have nothing to report. I'm typing because I kind of feel obligated to write something in my blog, lest you think I abandoned my readers or fell off the face of the earth. Ah well. Good afternoon, how was your day?
Food for thought: I found this little poem somewhere, modified a word or two, and here it is. What do you think? Clever, no? Depressing, suicidal... who writes these?
I'm going to draw a picture; I'll draw it with a twist.
I'll draw it with a razor; I'll draw it on my wrist.
And as I draw that picture, a river will appear.
As that river flows away, my troubles disappear.
With that being said, anyone want to cheer me up? Comment and I'll respond.
Added Monday, July 16th 2007: A friend said to me today, "whoever wrote The Odyssey should be shot." Well, Homer is already dead, but you can still go for Robert Fitzgerald (the translator of all things ancient Greek... he's a poet too! How coincidental). Good luck with that. I'm sure he'll have hired bodyguards by now with all the attacks by the homicidal students who are stuck doing summer reading. Or is he already dead too? Power to the people, erm, students. Whatever.

I thought the poem was good. I think for me it was because there was a point in my life where I felt that way, so I was able to relate. Thanks for sharing Angel.
