Banished to Ogygia

Mood: Sooo tired. And frantic.
Music: "The Silent Force" album by Within Temptation
Weather: Getting hotter. 90 today?
So today... I'm packing. I hate packing. A lot.

I think it's funny. I post a short, depressing entry and people comment. I write a long, interesting entry but not one cares... ironic? Maybe. (See last two posts.) Topics today: Wicked, Harry Potter, cheerleading, and vacation.

As you know, I saw Wicked: the Musical on Friday. It was really well done... the sets, acting, costumes, everything. It was funny and well written. Obviously, parts were changed from the book, but it was realistic. I loved it. It also had a surprise ending which I totally did not see coming and I read the books (Wicked by Gregory Maguire and the sequel, Son of a Witch) and listened to the soundtrack beforehand. I highly recommend seeing the musical while it's on tour around the country! Go "green!" Hahahahahaha, "You-Know-Who" ...classic. Ahem.

The musical began at 8 PM and I didn't get home until 12:30 AM. The next morning when I woke up, I had discovered that my sister got a copy of Harry Potter 7. I spent my afternoon reading that. Let me tell you, it was by far the best of the series. I commend you JK. (Happy Birthday to Harry Potter, btw ) Now go read the book if you haven't. Then you can laugh at the semi-spoiler-free comments I've made:

- Saintlike? Holely crap! The deaths!
- Merlin's pants! Her? Upset? No!
- What happened to ~~Wendell and Monica Wilkins~~?
- His eyes are GREEN. Oh dear.
- Go Mrs. Weasley! Get that b****!
- Trelawney and tennis: quite a match

Well, my last cheerleading practice before camp was yesterday. I'm going on vacation so I won't be there for the last two practices and I will miss the first day of cheer camp. It' is unbelievably problematic. Hopefully, everyone will learn how to stunt before camp. ~~Or else thery're dead~~. But, I'll have to learn all the material I'll miss on that first day. I hate being behind. Woe is me. I'll live.

Vacation in San Francisco, CA. Oh fun. We'll get up way too early in the morning to drive to the airport and catch a flight at 5 AM tomorrow. I won't be able to post an entry until after my vacation and cheer camp. (They overlap! Did I mention how I'll also miss team picture day? Agh!) I'll be back on August 9th and probably won't post until the 10th. Fun stuff, I assure you. Good day.

P.S. I'll be packing up for debate camp right after I get back because debate camp starts on the 12th. I'll have to miss cheer practices again. So frustrating. Also, I need to do my homework for debate camp. I still have to finish my summer reading too!
